The 6th February 2018 is the centenary of the Representation of the People Act, which granted some women in Britain the right to vote and to finally have their say in how the country was run. I’m incredibly excited to be celebrating the achievements of trailblazing women that week, from daring suffragette, Flora Drummond to WWII undercover radio operator, Noor Khan to Islamic pirate queen Sayidda al-Hurra, with the publication of Fantastically Great Women Who Made History on the 8th February.
This time I’ve delved further back in time to find some truly remarkable women who shaped history with their bravery, talents and big ideas. I’ll be sharing more about the process of making this book and some of the surprising things I discovered in my research. For now – here is the shiny new turquoise cover for you to take a peek at!
Not long now, sister suffragettes!
