Last week I went on what will probably be my last trip to London for a while (Baby Panks arrives in July) to visit to an illustration exhibition organised by my fantastic agents, Plum Pudding Illustration at the Coningsby Gallery.
I’ve been with Plum Pudding since 2012, and had a very exciting time working on some dream projects, so it was lovely to catch up – and to finally get an opportunity to meet some of their other very talented illustrators, and their exhibition pieces. The work was for sale and I could have spent a fortune. (The baby needs prints for their nursery, right?)
I was busy chatting to lots of lovely people so didn’t get chance to take many pictures but you can see everyone’s stunning work on the Plum Pudding blog.
Here’s me and the bump next to my exhibition piece, Super Mum. (Ha ha! I think the reality of what I’ll be like is more still in my pyjamas at 4pm rather than flying to the rescue, mug of tea in hand. I feel a picture book idea brewing!)
I think the highlight of my evening was being immortalised in a drawing by fellow Plum Puddinger Alex Patterson!
